Goodest Mommy in the World!
This morning I awoke to Isabelle climbing into bed and while rubbing my cheek telling me that I am the "Goodest Mommy in the Whole Wide World", "You are my favorite Mommy" and "I love it when we snuggle and read together".
Talk about perfect timing. I was just telling Chris last night that I was feeling depressed again needed to get out of my own head. What a perfect way to start the day!
Isabelle has been in such a wonderful mood this week. It has been so much fun hanging out with her.
Also, she has been begging to go to "real school" and we have told her that no school will take her until she learns to read. That seems to be a HUGE motivator for her as she wants to try and read EVERYTHING! She is doing pretty fantastic. I just love playing "school" with her. Need to find some first reader books that are really short so she can get through them easily and feel successful. Fingers crossed and wish us luck.
